What People's Say About Place

Very fairly priced food, friendly staff, and great ambience! 14 piece omakase for $55… and the sushi is all big too! Such a great deal. Sashimi boat is also massive and delicious. Must try their uni! Tomoko-San is also very friendly and attentive to customer needs. Will defs come back!

A must-visit for uni lovers! You can enjoy incredibly fresh uni dishes and a variety of special sets at very reasonable prices. After hearing that the owner operates their own UNI farm in Santa Monica, the freshness and pricing made perfect sense. Highly recommended!

I went at a quite Monday night but the service was great. Food was awesome too. We were there for a long time but the server didn't bother us besides taking empty dishes and refilling drinks. The restaurant is very spacious . And seating is somewhat hidden in the side wing of the restaurant.

Having dinner with Izumi san and this is the place he picked and it was amazing. Uni was fantastic and sashimi also very well made. We had a very good dinner here and everyone left with a smile on their face.

Like going to a neighborhood Izakaya in a hidden alley in Tōkyō where the Sakè flows along with accomplished, savory traditional dishes that hit the mark. Better to go Monday-Thursday since the kitchen can become overwhelmed with too many ordering guests. Still worth the effort. Call ahead to reserve to get priority services.

Love coming to this restaurant. I usually get the omakase nigiri set but this time I opted for the Toro Takuan Handroll and Salmon Ikura Uni bowl. Simply decadent

This Japanese restaurant in Old Torrance often allows walk-ins, making it a convenient spot for impromptu meals or after-parties. I really appreciate the atmosphere, which is conducive to staying for a long time when it's not too crowded. I recommend the sashimi and sushi. While Japanese cuisine tends to be pricey these days, the prices here feel quite reasonable.

Very good tempura and sashimi sets. The rice could have been fluffier and stickier. The yellowtail, salmon, and tuna sashimi were delicious and absolutely worth the combination set. Tempura was very good, crispy but not too crunchy. No complaints on miso soup. My girlfriend and I were impressed with the pickled vegetables. Definitely recommended. We are too much and got overly full because it was so good.
